There is an education revolution happening in the remote District of Rasuwa, Nepal!! Our children are all seeking to escape the cycle of poverty and attend school should the opportunity arise.
Our community was completely decimated in the earthquakes in 2015. All the schools were also knocked to the ground.
With the generosity of overseas donors, almost all the schools have been re-built and then staffed by the Nepali Government in the remote Rasuwa District.
Shree Ghormu Primary School, Suryodaya Primary School, Manakamana Primary School, and Kalika Primary School have all been built post-earthquake. Simbandi Primary School is still under construction, all funded byRainbow of Hope for Children Society, Alberta, Canada.
The majority of these schools throughout the Rasuwa Dis trict are almost devoid of furnishings, teaching resources and student resources. Although the buildings are
erected, the staff and future students are left with an empty shell, with the only ongoing Government support being to staff the schools with teachers.
Although families are sending their children to school, many do not have the finances to purchase uniforms and other learning resources.
Please donate today to ensure the staff and students have ongoing help with their education in the way of school uniforms, furnishings, teaching resources, books, pens, pencils etc.
